Is this hypocrisy?

I don't dispute global warming just the science. I have fun with the inconsistency of science. Poking fun at the pin heads who think they have it all figured out, until the next theory comes along.

You say you believe in global warming without any science or other evidence to back it up. Then I guess it is just a 'gut feeling'. I can not find fault in that. Always stay true to you 'gut feelings', they will keep you alive.

My gut feeling is that our climate has changed, we no longer seem to have the consistency that we had , yes we have very cold periods in winter but not of the length and with the regularity we used to, in fact the only thing that is consistent now seems to be the wet and windy Springs.

Of course we tend to look back through rose tinted specs so my gut feeling could be wrong. :)

Your attitude puts you among the most extreme of denialists. Most of them at least accept that the sea is rising and even most now accept that temperatures are steadily rising. They only dispute the cause.

The sea level is definitely rising. Pointing to a few places where the land is subsiding does not discount the fact that the sea level as measured independently of the land height is rising at over 3 mm per year.

It is you who refuses to accept the evidence and prefers to rely on your "gut feeling".

The sea level (worldwide) may be rising. The average temperature of the Earth may be rising. Nevertheless, the central question: Is it caused by the effects of man or by another as yet unknown cause?

Once again, another article has poped-up were subsequent analysis undermines a theory. Washington Post: "BICEP2 scientists publish cosmic inflation paper hedging claim of gravitational waves"

"The esoteric field of cosmology exploded into front-page news in March when scientists announced at a news conference at Harvard that they had seen signs of gravitational waves emanated at the dawn of time. Then came the peer-review process, and now it’s all up in the air. The same scientists have published a revised and updated version of their original paper, acknowledging that it’s possible they detected only an effect created by dust in our own galaxy."

Corrected. I am happy that I was able to bring you some humor today!
The news has been quite distressing on this side of the pond.

Here we go again. Most of them who. First it was 3,000 scientist and now the truth is about 4-500. The trouble these scientist are all either being paid to say this paid to write a paper on what every liberal wants to here. It is how they get funding. In other words it is about MONEY.

Oh and what yardstick do you measure sea level if it is not by land. Even GPS will have a problem with this. It is a fact the sea is not rising.

P.s. Colorado.edu is a very liberal university in a very liberal state. Besides, most all of them are smoking all the time. In Colorado, legally I might add. Just shows you how liberal they are.

I live in California, drive 25-50 miles inland from the coast. Dig through a few riverbeds look at the sides of hills and mountains what do find? Sea shells. What does this mean? Sea shells 25 miles inland from the nearest ocean! OMG the world must be coming to an end. Or this area was once coved by the ocean and were are in a cycle that us mere mortals can't control. We think in terms of generations "I can't remember when we had rains like this" no shit. As though one generation means something on a planet 4-5 billion years old.

Aye, the whole US was probably under water at one time. In TN you can find fossilized remains of sea animals and we are a long way from the Ocean.

Yes but there were not trillions of dollars of assets in vulnerable locations when the ocean advanced in the past. Moreover the coastline and latitudinal temperature ranges have not traveled so fast as they are now without some catastrophe being involved.

Find me one credible paper that successfully disputes the data published by University of Colorado.

There is plenty of evidence for cilmate change denialist scientists being paid. Moreover, many of the most outstanding of them also denied fluorocarbons cause ozone depletion in the 1990s and some even were on the tobacco company payrolls denying that smoking tobacco caused cancer in the 80s.

already did that and it appears you are not looking at them?

Did they cause ozone depletion. We make ozone all the time, why not just replace it. The flourocarbons mostly were in air conditioners that are sealed. WHo is to say what we use now is not any worse.

I remember a time when coffee was bad for you. NOW_____ glad I did not stop...sun screen is good for you...not.... if you take a bath in it..... keeps out the vit. D from the sun.

I know you are a hater and would like to believe chicken little but it is not happening. What is going to happen in a short period of time is the worlds economy is going to go down the drain because of the middle east problems. Now that is something the liberals can really get their hands on and fix. right???????(being a little cynical)

Not only is this a major copout, it also demonstrates the "Chicken Little approach" used by governments. "It’s happening faster" "catastrophes" "act now before it’s too late"

You could only imagine if Blade was Tsetse Fly researcher in the Congo and Galaxion held the research grants. Blade's political views coupled with his religion and the fact he dare question global warming. He would have to remain silent or risk losing all grant monies.

Not to mention the ridicule which would definitely impact his research and his ability to get private donations.

OUCH!
"He would have to remain silent " is the part that would hurt the most. lol

Yep that sounds about right, one rule for the rich and another for the poor, whilst it is the poor that are funding them..

My point has always been that I don't have the ability or the time to do research on global warming, as I suspect is the case with most on this forum. That therefore reduces the premise to who are you going to believe. Am I going to believe a hypocrite like this guy or Al Gore or guys I trust in other areas.
