Issue copying a form between Access DB's

I exported two new forms I created to 2nd database and for some reason ALL the forms I had in the 2nd database were deleted!!! I don't understand why this happened because I have done this before and the forms in my 2nd database were never deleted.

any idea why this might happen?

How can I get the forms I had in my 2nd database back??

what steps did you got through exactly to export your forms?
what version of Access are both dbs?

No suggestions come to mind - do you have a backup? If you are on a corporate network, does IT have a backup?

Is it possible you have set all the forms to be hidden?

If the forms have code, can you still see the code modules?
