Hello!
My name is Jen. I have some minor Access experience and I am taking a huge step in trying to convert my company's system to Access.
I work for a very small publishing company who is using Dataease for DOS! (Yes you read that right) and needs to find an alternative database as Windows 7 does not support DOS and for what we need to I think Access will work well for us.
I have the challenge to not only migrate everything from Dataease to Access but then teach my very non-computer friendly co-workers how to use the *new* system. Trying to show them they can export info to a usb drive instead of a 3.5" floppy has already proved challenging.
I am working on exporting our current database and starting a demo database to experiment and build on. This is fairly new to me but I think I can make this work. I'm hoping if I run into issues I can come search for some help and maybe a little support!
