Left to Right Section Repetition

I was wondering if there is a way to do a section (like detail) that prints multiple sections left to right instead of top to bottom. more like grid format. I've got some contact information, and I like formatting in a:

Name
Phone
Email

set up, each on their own line, but i can fit 3 contacts in three lines, just formatted left to right. once it hits 4 contacts, it should expand the section to a new "detail" group or what-not, expanding from 3 lines to 6 lines, etc.

Is this possible?

Are you referring to Labels? Do not fully understand your methodology/logic/need?

well, yea, but no.

I'm not actually printing Labels, but, formatting wise, sort of.
I'm basically want to repeat the 2 inch wide detail section 3 times horizontally before repeating it vertically. Like MS Word Columns or something, i want to make the data in a section repeat accross columns before repeating across rows.

Oooh....that is cool. And perhaps from this you might be able to point out the best course of action, because as with all things, it is not perfect.
Doing the columnar set upon the page is precisely the idea, but I want it to only affect one section.

Basically, i have a table of locations. for each location there can be multiple "contacts". I have the Name GroupHeader, which contains the Name of the location and should span the witdth of the page.

In the detail section, I have the Address Block (about 2.25 inches wide) and there is only one per site. Next to the address block I want up to 2 of the contacts blocks (about 2.25 in wide) with a 0 column spacing (so the table borders mesh)., if more than two are present, then the 3rd contact should go beneath the Address block, and so on. With the columnar setup it almost works, but i have to put the address block in the Name GroupHeader, and the Name Group Header does not fully print across the top, as the 2nd column cuts off the width of the Name label.

You might need to work with a sub report in your detail section. Primary report group by address, no columns in page setup, sub-report (inserted in the primary report's detail section), group by address but dont show the group header and 3 columns in your page setup. You will probably have to play with it some to get it tweaked just right.
