Being a bit of a luddite I see this as a definite and unnecessary intrusion of privacy.

But some deluded souls have spent $33M and counting in getting it to market.
(Needless to say I'll not be shellin' out $300 on one.......plus the 33% 125% 145% tariff of course)

don't worry, your phone is listening to you all the time, so it won't make a lot of difference...

Maybe. But my main phone is still 2G.

I have a smart spy phone which never leaves the study for a telephone number I give to transient suppliers along with a annually changing address. All of the cameras and mics are taped over. It will never have a banking APP installed. In fact it only has two apps installed and one of them is Signal.
Last year I bought a new TV, which is basically a spy-TV. Switched off everything I could in the software and filled all the microphone holes in the remote with Araldite.
I pay for advert free and encrypted email addresses. If I think I need to look at a new website, if it won't open in on my VPN with TOR, then I'll not bother. If I mentioned all of this to the legalised drug dealer my GP, he'd probably try to give me tablets for paranoia, or have me sectioned!
