Linked tables from a db secured with work group security (1 Viewer)

Does anyone use linked tables form a db that is secured with workgroup security? I just changed an existing db from the standard password protection to workgroup securtiy. I have some of the tables from this db linked in another db. Now when I try to access the linked table I get an error stating that I do not have the nessary permissions to view the objects. Does anyone have any suggestions or help they could provide me? Thanks in advance.

I haven't done extensive testing on this one, but if you want to link to a workgroup protected BE then the FE should share the worgroup of the BE. Or have you tried joining the workgroup for the BE, then opening the FE then linking. That may work.
