Question Linking Jpeg Images to access: Selecting 2 from multiple images stored on network (1 Viewer)

Jdraw.

Well I don’t want the rotated images going to another directory because that means more manual work putting them back again.

So I tried rotating in situ and it messed up the thumbnails.

Maybe you can verify that, because it doesn’t seem to work well for me and then again maybe I did it incorrectly.
The images get rotated fine but not the thumbnails.

Regards,
Chris.

That works but it takes about 3-4 seconds to load the thumbnails.

Correction:
That works but it takes about 3-4 seconds to display the thumbnails when going from record to record.

I didn't put the images in a different directory. I gave them a new name in the same directory. I didn't simply change the existing record, since a corruption of any sort would have lost the original.
I don't think Irfanview will let you overwrite the original in its original position.

Either rotate them into a known directory,
or rotate them with change in the name (suffix/prefix) in the same directory.

Steacy could rotate images into a known directory via batch Irfanview.

My photos and thumbnails were rotated as shown in previous attachment.

The DSCF photos are original, the image000 are the rotated versions.
