Hello,

I'm having a small problem with a code that I found on this forum to create a password system for my database. For some reason, I can't pin point the reason why it won't work. I must be having a 'Brain Fart' or something. Anyways, I have uploaded the code back to this forum to see if some fine person can get my brain kick started. I've been staring at the code for the last 6.5 hours and can't figure it out. I have changed everything with no luck, so I've put it back to the original format in this upload.

Also, how would one go about hiding the password so that it is not displayed when you type it in? What I want is to replace the password with stars instead of the actual text of the password.

You need to set your references to Microsoft DAO 3.6 Object Library and use the Password format for an imput mask on your field txtpassword. Also removed an extra End If at the end of your code, no required.

How are you controlling access to what based on the User Level? I am curious to learn this?
