Is it possible to lookup a value from a subreport and use the value for calculating other fields on the actual report?
Thank you in advance for your help,
Sohaila

Which particular value do you want from the sub report, is it a single record Sum etc?

Thank you for your response, I am hoping to solve this today!
It is the total count of the record that I want. I have Driver Numbers that are associated to Bill of Lading numbers. For instance, the driver number 100 did 45 jobs(Bill of Lading Numbers) in a period of 3 months. What I want is bring the value 45 to my report and do calculations with it for our claims department. I don't know if that helps.

You'll have to do the initial calculation in the sub report footer and reference that on the main report, post back if you need further help.

I have already done that, the part that I don't know is how do I reference that to my main report. I thought subreports work individually and I know that I can show my data by linking my subreports with parent and child. Anyway, could you elaborate! Thank you

These properties are typically used to refer to the form or report contained in a subform or subreport control. For example, the following expression uses the Report property to access the OrderID control on a subreport contained in the OrderDetails subreport control.

mytextbox=Reports!Orders!OrderDetails.Report!OrderID
