I have a number of reports that are designed to be in Portrait orientation. However very often when I open up these reports to preview and then print they are in Landscape orientation. These are the things I have done to try and solve this mystery:

1. While previewing report I have gone to the page setup and changed the orientation back to portrait and then printed the report. The next time I open up the report it is back in Landscape.

2. While in design I change the page setup and save the object. Next time I open it up it is back in Landscape.

3. I have gone to Tools/Options/General and turned off the Auto Correct...shut Access down...come back in....tried 1 and 2 above and once again it is in Landscape.

4. I have seen a few post referring to prtdevmode. I am simply not access savy enough to follow these discussions.

Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

Thanks everyone. This forum is a lifesaver.

This is a known Access bug. Disable the Autocorrect option (Tools > Options...), then you will have to re-set a last time your printing layout options for each report.
