I want to get rid of confirmation messages when I run update query's while using a macro. I have already unchecked all confirmation messages in the options tool? Thanks

Go back to tools/options and turn the warnings back on - they serve a useful purpose.

In the macro, add a line before the one that runs the query that sets warnings off and add another one after the query runs that sets warnings back on. When I do this, I add an additional command to set the hourglass on when the warnings are off and then set the hourglass off when warnings are turned back on. That way I have a visual clue, just in case I forget. Leaving warnings off can cause you to inadvertantly delete or modify your database objects.
