When I made my introduction post I was disappointed that all the line spacing I made between paragraphs disappeared and all the text got smushed together.
I am not sure now if you need to leave extra large spacing between paragraphs in order for the spacing to remain after submission or what. Maybe single line spacing is not enough and you need one and a half line spacing or double line spacing.
I’m also first typing out my post in Microsoft Word and copying it into the post composition box in Access World Forums, if that is causing my paragraph spacing disappearing problem.

This post is in part also an experiment to see if I can make a post with proper paragraph spacing. I may answer the post with the same body of text multiple times until I get the paragraph spacing right. This may also be an experiment with formatting.

It seems that when you compose a post in the composition window that paragraphs may appear with small separation, but that this small separation disappears when the post is submitted. And now I will try starting a new paragraph.
This is now the next paragraph. I'm not seeing much of a separation. Maybe because of the font size I'm using, or maybe because I didn't compose this text first in Word and paste it here. When I previously composed first in Word and then pasted a copy here, I would get small paragraph separations even when I didn't insert an entire line space. Those small paragraph separations disappeared altogether when I viewed the post after submission.

This is the third paragraph. I believe to have a paragraph space or noticeable paragraph separation appear in the post-submission post you have to insert an entire blank line.

One more thing. I am writing this using the font size of 5. By the way the font sizes in this forum composing box are different from Microsoft Word.

Here is font size 6.

Now font size 7.

What if I try font size 4 at Courier New in red color?

I noticed that a lot of people just use the default choice for the formatting of their posts. I for one find the default a bit small for reading comfort. I don't want to discourage people from the default, though. I guess the important thing is that something, anything gets posted at all and that people are OK with the appearance of the text and that they get helped and that they learn something.

Maybe this thread may end up being useful for someone other than myself.
