I have a db that I originally crated in Access 2007, when I created it I used Access 2000 format so I could use it on other versions of Access. I have a report that works fine when using it on Access 2003, but when I view the report in Access 2007 the margins are messed up. I orginally created it to have .25 margins on all sides. The report is a landscape report, but when I now pull it up in Access 2007 the right margin is 0.5. I try to cahnge it to .25 and it automatically changes to 0.5. Anyone have any ideas why I can not change the margin.

The report has a main report and a subreport. Weird thing is when I use it at work in Access 2003 it does not do this, and when I originally created the db, it did not do this.

Confused on this one. Any ideas on a fix would be great.

May be something to do with your windows permission

i bet this stuff is saved in the registry - if you cant write to the registry, you may not be able to save certain settings

The problem seems to be the printer that I have at home. I am using a Lexmark All in oone and for some reason it will not allow me to have a righ margin of .25 in landscape it makes .5 and can not be adjusted. I can not figure out how to make any changes to the printer properties to make it work. Fortunately the printers in the office where it is used do not have this problem.

Jukus, check your column settings. I was having the same problem, and noticed under my column settings, the width was set the 6.5". I just clicked the "Same as Detail" box, and my report was fine.

It is checked. I am thinking it is the dpi setting of the printer that are casuing this problem. Not sure but that is the only explination I can come up with.

Thanks for the input.
