Does anyone know the maximum number of rows allowed in a table in Access 2003?

Infinite, unless exeeding a total filesize of 2 gigabyte

Access says you can have up to 1 billion records, however if the size of the file exceeds 2 gig it stops then. In order to get 1bn you need 1 table in a single db that has one field that is 1 byte in size. Totally useless but MS are not lying. Don't suggest you try it, just take their word for it.

never know that! 1 billion records?? that's very big

Reported qin to the admins/mods for having a hidden signature for SEO purposes. This signature is hidden (highlight the post with your mouse and you can see it). Another useless moron joining just to get their website higher in the search engines.:mad::mad::mad:
