Merging Access Query with Excel Form

I have been tasked to merge query results with an Excel for; there are not too many fields, two emp # and name. How would I do that; I'm under the gun for time (of course) but thought I'd ask the experts before I try to figure this out. Thanks in advance,
 
Which query do you have. How and where do you want the result showed?
 
MS Access has the ability to view an unformatted Spreadsheet as a Datasheet. If you use Access to create a Link to the Excel File, Access can treat the Spreadhseet as a Read-Only Table, and you can proceed from there.
