I recently upgraded to office 2007 as much as i didn't want to. I put a google desktop gadget that creates shortcuts to microsoft office products. Now with Office 2007 I can't find the actual application icons. I know it installs itself in both program files and program files(x86). Does anyone know where the actual Access root icon is?

Have you tried Finding the Target via the shortcut?

Yes but the Find Target button is locked

I'm not sure but have a look in:

C -> Program Files -> Microsoft Office -> Office 12

You may find something in there

I looked in there as well and just don't seem to be able to find the right file. There is a configuration file and one that's labeled ACCIN with the access icon. However, nothing happens when it's double-clicked.

Are you talking about finding the executable Access file or just the icon?

The executable so I can create my own shortcut for this app I'm using. Using the shortcuts path does not work.

Hmm under that same folder I pointed out to you (Office 12), click on the drop down arrow on TYPE column and tick the APPLICATION option. You should find MSACCESS

Okay, found it. Just took a little closer looking. Thanks a bunch.
