Missing Records?

I have a database set up for some of my users to enter insurance policy information. Basically, the two main tables are Personal Information and Policy Information and they are linked by SSN.

Now, I have two forms that are linked to these tables. I have them linked to the tables directly because they have the data entry property set to yes and are only used for entering data, not looking up data. The personal information form comes up first and when that information is entered, the user clicks a button that opens up the second form which is for the policy information. The SSN gets carried over from the first form behind the scenes, and all other information is entered manually. I have noticed for a few of these records, the policy information is not always saved, and I haven't been able to determine why as of yet. Nothing unusual is happening, no error messages, etc., so they don't find out until later that there is no policy information and it is causing problems with some of the other forms.

Does anyone have any ideas or experience with this? By the way, I have the front end on their PC's with tables linked over to the server, and there may be as many as 3-4 users in the DB at a time. Was wondering if it could have anything to do with record locking, but I don't see how since they are creating new records.

Thanks for your help.

I have 3 command buttons at the bottom of the form, one for saving record and entering another for this SSN, one for saving the record and going back to personal information form, and one for saving the record and closing the form(s). (Personal Info form is open but hidden when Policy Info form is in use)

All three have the save command:
Code:
DoCmd.DoMenuItem acFormBar, acRecordsMenu, acSaveRecord, , acMenuVer70
before the other commands.

Anyone have any fantastic ideas? :)

Thanks for your help.
