Hi everyone
I have a new problem with MS Access 97. I was shown how to decompile this program a few years ago solving an original problem thanks to one of your Members. I've attached a snapshot of a new window which pops up when I try to load the program. Unfortunately the original MS Access CD has been lost.
Can someone offer any suggestions please.
Thanks and Regards

Keith

PS We recently upgraded to Windows 10 would this be the problem?

I had the exact same dilema. Found a legal, sealed copy of Office 2007 Professional on eBay for $20.00. Runs .mdb, after changing to accdb, like nothing was ever wrong.
Edit.. Just checked. 2 left!
Another edit.. Sorry, just saw you are in Australia.

Also can I just reload Access instead of the whole lot.

I'm not sure about installing only Access. Perhaps in the custom installation?
Don't remember the convert steps exactly. Seems when I clicked to open, Access said I needed to convert Which happened without problems.

Access 2007 can be downloaded at Archieve.com for free.

I sent you a message. I would be happy to convert your A97 dbs to A2003, and later versions of access can read A2003 databases. I am not sure whether A2007 can read a A97 dbs.

Hi Gemma,
Sorry about the delay in responding. There are two copies of this Database: I have one and so does my Golf Club. Mine is OK but for some reason the one at the club does not function and just throws up the message you can see earlier in this post. I'm interested in your offer of upgrading to version 2003. I'm assuming you're not in Australia so timing might be an issue if we are both online at the same time. Happy to consider any ideas and thanks for your offer.
Cheers
Keith

Keith. I sent you a PM - see the conversations in the envelope and bell at the top of the screen.

You do not need to change to accdb. I use mdb with 2007 with no issues.
