Hi all,
I am using a database that was created years ago, which has the vba password protected. I don't know the password and would like to make some changes to the design of the reports that are output. Can anyone help?

I am not sure that this question is liked by developers who usually put a password on code for a reason. You should really be finding out who made the password and why.

That said it is no secret that products like this exist http://www.vbapasswordrecovery.com/

It's a simple database that produces some reports for us. We input reports in 1 format and the database reformats them into a more user friendly format. I presume at the time the employee who created it, just wanted to make sure it was secure, but now that the employee is no longer with us and we have changes we would like to make. Thanks for your suggestion.

I know this post is very old but I found some helpful links to recover Access VBA password

Here is link to brilliant article, this article can help users to recover lost Access VBA password: http://www.trigeminal.com/code/DatabasePassword.bas

Or as darbid said above there are multiple products on the market to recover VBA password. One such tool I found on internet (cheaper then the stated above) is http://www.vbapasswordrecovery.net/
