I have 4 databases that I am pulling the same table from. They have the same fields with different data. I am needing to group on the similar dates and sum the totals. I have a query setup where I have all the data summed but it is not combined yet. I am having problems combining the data. Can anyone help?

You don't post exactly what your problem is.

Make certain that the data types for each table being combined are exactly alike and have no duplicate keys if those fields are also being combined.

Here is the exact problem, after I put all the data in one query and use totals to group the four different groups into the 12 months of the year, how do I then group them all together under 1 group instead of 4?

Query you query, elininating the 1-4 column, and group total.

I keep trying that, but I am getting empty cells back, no data? What's that mean?

Make sure you have no null fields being totaled, use the NZ function on those columns.

That worked on that part, now how about this? There are dates in all four tables, in a query how would I group all those dates into one set of dates? I can't sum or any such thing. Any suggestions?

Thanks guys. That is working great. I have never used a union query before, but it works beautifully. Thanks again, sam
