Nav Pane's custom grouping keeps getting reshuffled (1 Viewer)

I use Access as a front end for data which is stored on SQL Server.

The DB has hundreds of queries, reports, forms, etc. and so I use a custom grouping for the side Nav Pane, as it's way easier to find things. For some reason on nearly a daily basis, the sorting of the items in the custom categories are completely reshuffled.

I can't make any sense of why it's doing that or how to fix. I basically just do my best to reorganize them but it's becoming futile at this point.

The DB compacts on close...maybe that is it? Any other ideas?

No idea either but should be easy enough to test your theory. Turn off compact on close and see if the reshuffling continues to happen.
