Hi all, got a slight issue i can't quite get my head around.

Been searching google for hours with no real results..... Or at least none i recognise.
I have successfully developed and used a database for the local tractor pull however, my data entry chick has got a new job and i'm too busy elsewhere on the day so what i've been trying to find is a way of making the database usable on both the registration pc and the ipad out on the track.
Something where data can be entered on the ipad and temporarily stores it until the wifi comes into range then updates the main database.

Splitting it seems to achieve half of what i want but will it work over a network or on an ipad or tablet of some sort?

Basically i need both sides to update each other in realtime.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Spliting the db is a must, from my POV, either you use it on one machine or many.
It has too many beneficial to count.
My suggestion in this case is to move the BE db to sql server (there are some free ones) and develop another app for the tablet/ipad using another tools.
