Need to print a crosstab report without complete data

I asked for a query with "User/client, Standard Action, Challenge/Day Type, Date, and the numbers displayed" and you provided a query in post #88 with User, Action, Loop, WeekNumber, Index (?), StartTimeAchievmentDays (?), StarTimeEngagementDays (?), ActivityAchievementDays (?), ActivityEngagementDays (?), PlannedStartTimeDays (?). No dates, no Challenge/Day, and no indication of the numbers to be displayed.

Do you really want my assistance?

I was wondering about the status of the report and whether you might need anything else from me to complete it.
I do wish I were more familiar with Access. I'm so busy with work and I don't have the proper time to study this better.

Be aware that we have received a complaint about this thread; specifically, for the first quoted statement above. I reviewed the thread and included a second statement that I felt was relevant. Your statements betrayed an inappropriate expectation as though you were somehow privileged.

I speak both as a long-time member and as a moderator caring about ALL of our members... not only for you but for those who have tried to help you. We need to retain a little balance here. We usually offer advice or small examples of how to do things or links to articles to explain something. We can get long-winded when we think it is appropriate. However, doing someone else's project for free is not something we do very often. To then imply some expectation of obligation such as is inherent in your question is disrespectful to the person or persons involved.

I do not intend to stand in the way of anyone who is now helping you, but you MUST realize that you are in essence asking for free programming services. We are all volunteers here and get nothing except the satisfaction of helping people. In twenty years plus as a forum member and contributor, I have yet to see a penny from anyone. Anyone who is helping you now and wants to help you even more is CERTAINLY free to continue. On this forum, it is always the responder's choice.

You, however, are paid to do a specific job within your company - which you have essentially admitted you can't do. The first quoted statement would be perfectly correct if we got paid to work for you - but that isn't the case. If this project is part of your job then you are persuading someone else to do your job for you. Which means you might not be much of a software engineer but you have the potential to be a remarkably persuasive manager.

I will repeat: Anyone on the forum who wishes to help you may do so. Please recognize that your question DOES implicitly ask someone to go above and beyond any call of duty, though.

Hello,

I want to begin by expressing my sincere gratitude to everyone who has offered their support throughout this project. Your help has been invaluable, and I’m truly grateful for the time and effort many of you have invested to help me overcome some significant hurdles.

That said, I feel it's time for me to step away. I meant no disrespect to anyone who’s tried to assist—this decision comes after much thought. I’m not being compensated for this work, and as an IT manager at a large company working 70-hour weeks, my bandwidth is extremely limited. I took this on to help a dear friend who’s been dedicated to this project for over five years. She’s a kind and determined person, and I’ve done my best to support her.

Unfortunately, the latest request involving this report has proven especially difficult. The way the database is structured simply doesn’t support the kind of output that’s being asked for. After exploring multiple options, I’ve come to the conclusion that I can’t make it work within the current setup.

I’ll let her know that if she wishes to continue, it will need to be without this report.

Thank you again for everything.
