I am creating a form that is a letter. This letter will get printed off a lot. A line at the bottom of the sheet makes it look tacky. I am told this line prints on our other databases also. How do you get rid of it? Our company uses access 97

I'm guessing that you simply need to select the line in report design view and delete it. It may not appear in the design view if it is right next to the bottom of a report section so you may have to find it by dragging the mouse selection cursor over the bottom (or top) of the various sections while holding the mouse button down...(Hope that made sense)

I can not find the line at the bottom. Would there be some setting in page settup or any other area like that? I would like to get rid of this line that just prints lightly on the bottom of the page...

It may be at the top of the page or report footer...?

I'm not sure where to go from here unless you can post a sample database with one of the reports in it...

When in design view, in the upper left portion of the screen (outside the form area), there is a drop-down that when you select an item, it tells you the internal name of that item. You can use it the other way, too. Scroll through the items and find any that have a name "Line1234" or something like that. Selecting the item in the drop-down also selects it on the screen and puts sizing "handles" on it. If there is a line anywhere, it will be visible that way. Once it is selected, the Delete key will take care of it.
