We have a network DB at work with 5 machines running Access using SQL Server table storage. Ever since we installed Access on the network there has been an occasional problem with the DB getting corrupted for one reason or another. Often times it was because a user closed out using the [X] instead of the exit command button. This has been remedied by disabling the [X] but still the DB gets corrupted and a message is displayed something to the effect of
"C:\ThisFolder\ThatFolder\YourDataBase.mdb is not a database...blah blah blah... would you like Access to repair the database?"
... and then all users must exit Access so it can be repaired.
Lately this has been happening more often than before and I have been doing alot of edits and additions to the DB.
What type of things would I look for that may cause this to continually happen?
Thanks for any help.
