New Line in Text Boxes

Hello, I have a problem with text boxes and memo boxes.
When I do a form and am entering text into a text box,when I hit return the cursor sometimes goes to the next line and sometimes it goes to the next control ! The only way around this is to hit ctrl return to take a newline ? I am not sure if it is because the control is linked to a memo or text field but is seems artbirary.

One of the attributes for a text box or Memo box is "Enter Key Behaviour". Take a look at this and see how it is set.

Chris' answer is right on, especially if you have lazy users! The standard keyboard shortcut <Ctrl> + <+> will also do it.
