Welcome from Texas!
I've been using Access off and on for a number of years, but never really got immersed in it until after my boss left earlier this year. I'm an accountant, and I've been doing repetitive tasks in Excel for years. Then I figured out how to program repetitive tasks, and voila, month-end entries are completed in less than 1 day.
I'm no stranger to SQL and saved queries. I'm learning VBA, but I don't have the money to take a class.
I really want to get out of accounting (due to the boredom incurred by financial statements), and move to IT. Programming is fun for me.
I'll be posting questions as they come up. Have patience with me.
