newb question but bear with me

Ok, here's the deal. I've written a proceedure in a module to pull data from Word fields and stick them in a table in access. I want to be able to start this proceedure with a button click from my switchboard but am clueless with regard to how to accomplish this. let me know how you'd do it.

make a button on your form and make an event procedure in its On Click property (just click the "..." button next to the On Click field on the properties window). this should take you to the VBE and set you up with the shell of an event procedure. then just call the procedure you've written. the finished event procedure will look like:

Private Sub MyButton_Click()
MyProcedure param1, param2, ...
End Sub

that's all there is to it!
