Newb Question - Date Report (1 Viewer)

Hi all. I have to design a report for a client in which I take daily orders and report based on counts for each month for a period of 3 years. I tried access Pivot Table with ODBC connection, but it only seems to sort by day not month or year. The data looks like this

FULF Date
C34 1/14/1999
CG87 2/14/1999
CG87 5/20/2000

Basically I need to group these by FULF and sort the orders by date totals all for months by year. I have had minimal success thus far, hoping one of you can lend a hand

Try using grouping in a report. Use the FULF Date field twice in the Sorting and Grouping. The first being grouped by months with intervals of 3 and the second occurance by years, interval 1. Have a footer and/or header as needed.
