Hi all please excuse my inexperience on this as I am very new to access
Not sure if I am posting in right area and can't find other threads on this

What I'm doing
Creating tables with 100 clients that require a service call every 6 months
I will be inputting the date of the first service these dates will vary over about a 4 month period

What I need to happen
When I enter the date I need the next field along which will have a heading of next service to auto calculate 6 months from the date I have inputed

Example

Bobs service date 1/1/13 auto next field would display 1/7/13

It would be nice if could then link some sort of reminder pos a week before so I can pr-warn my clients that we will be coming to service their system
But this last bit might be a bit advanced for me

Any help would be very much appreciated

I've only just started the table

It goes a bit like this

No. Name,address, item to service, 1st service, next service due.

Think I should be doing something in forms to allow the calculation to take place

Just not sure where to start (newbie)
