Number in string required (1 Viewer)

I have a string (for a password) that contains 8 - 12 characters.

There has to be at least one digit in it (0-9).

So I have to test it in the Before Update Event of the field.
Any idea how I can accomplish this?

Even better would be if it could test for an uppercase as well.

All suggestions will be appreciated.

It can be configured to test for minimum length as well as at least one uppercase, numeric and special character.
