Office Ultimate (91% Student Discount)

This may be a wonderful offer, but it is for college students ONLY. It does not appear to be available to people who are not currently enrolled in college

True, but there may be someone who could take advantage of the offer. Of course there are never any college students here on the forum trying to get their Access db done before the due date, is there :D

Somehow or another, that thought escaped me

Rich, ARE YOU BACK? I can't say I'm happy about that...but it's a surprise to see you. :)

Ok, I'm going to be the guinea pig this, my niece is a college student. I post back how it goes...

damn, i know a few students who'd jump at the chance to buy office ultimate 2007 for $60... unfortunately, it's not only for "students only" but only for "USA students only"!!! :(

It just an PR stunt as we Americans have been deemed 'un-educated' :p

Ah the irony.

If your niece gets a copy, ask if you can borrow it, turn on the spell check in Word and I think you'll find it's 'uneducated' (no need for a hyphen). :D

:p
If she could do all that spellin and educated type stuff there'd be no need in being a student now would they?

And if they were aware of grammatical skills (or lack there-of), the give me copy - kind of a pre student deal :p

Hi SOS,
I am a student, of 2007 but not inrolled, I am however working on a PHD trough a corrspondence school, and I teach access 2003 to beginners. I called Microsoft and they said I qualified for Microsoft Office Student edition, which I purchased. I then had to go out and by Access 2007 seperately. I imagine then I would have qualified for Office Ultimate. Too Bad, too late now.
