In securing my database I had already disabled the shift key. When I go back and forth editing the front-end of the database, I frequently re-enable special Keys, etc to make things easier. When I'm done, I re-secure the file. Apparently the last time I did this I was a little trigger happy, and disabled full menus. As a result I can no longer get to the design view, or my code.

Any ideas? or am I just out of luck? Thanks.

Depends on what you have done to 'secure' your db.

You can import everything into a new db.

Thanks!!!!!!

I don't know why I wasn't thinking along those lines. That worked great!
Thanks again!

Check these links out for some ideas on how to lock down your db but in a way that you can unlock the settings when you want [need] to.

Holding down Shift

hide all Access tool bars and menu bars

True Access security with a workgroup and user permissions is another topic but one you should read up on if you really want to secure your db to protect the data and also protect the design of your application.
