I would like to have a file explorer on a form so that users can navigate to a file and drag'n'drop it into my OLE field on the form.

what is the activeX control called that give a file explorer?

Or another way for users to add files

MSaccess 2000!

Hi,

I Don't know much acout drag'n'drop in Access 2000, but the ActiveX for the file browser (comman dialog box) is some variation on comdlg.ocx. after you download it, you must link it on any workstation using your file.

PLEASE! don't do the mistake I have once made!

I can not recall were I have found this, but there is a module that calls the comman dialog box usnig windows API, All credits are in the Module. Step into the running code, play around with the Prameters and flags, and learn how to use it. the module is Quite well documeted and comented.

atc. is an example I have striped off one of my projects.

Use in good health!
