Hi Experts,
I've an OLE Object data type field in my database. I use this field to capture/embed file as an attachment. I am using vb.net to upload the file into the database. The uploading is sucessful and the data captured in the database in this field is 'Long Binary Data'. Whenever I want to view the document (excel/word doc) by double clicking on the field I get the following error message:
A problem occurred while Microsoft Access was communicating with the OLE server or ActiveX Control.
Close the OLE Server and restart it outside of Microsoft Access. Then try the original operation again in Microsoft Access.
I also have disable the antivirus on my machine and still doesn't help.
