Does anyone know how to be able to drag and drop OLE objects from Windows Explorer to the OLE Object field In MS Access and display it as an Icon only?
I have set the display type to 'icon' in the object property but it still displays it's contents (e.g. .doc or .xls, etc.) regardless.
The only way this works is if you right click on object field and select insert object. When inserting the file, I click on the icon check box.
It would be good if I could just drag and drop from explorer.
Would appreciate help with this.
