Hi Guys,

I've got a couple of access databases that are in use at work.

Over the weekend I saw a video whilst doing some research of an access database that the user had up.

This looked like one of those custom software jobs, you couldn't see the access program window at all.

I have seen a post that sets the forms to pop up and the window to opened minimized. Obviously the problem with this is that when you go to another program and then switch back, its going to maximize the window and make all that work pointless.

I've posted this in the general as I have no idea where this would be posted in.

Can this be done?? Has anyone got any ideas or been able to do it themselves?

Currently using Access 2010

In A2013 the Navigation pane can be hidden via a setting in <File><Options><Current Database>then untick Display Navigation Pane
I'm not familiar with hiding the ribbon but I believe it can be done. Try a search on the threads here or on google for Hiding the ribbon. Here's one I found on google: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/ff837012.aspx

Hi,

Sorry I don't think i explained myself well enough. I can hide the ribbon and the navigation pane.

Please see the below link.

This is the kind of thing I'm after, but this only works as long as you dont switch to another program and then back to the database.
