Open another database using command button (1 Viewer)

I have a command button on my form that is hyperlinked to a second database. When the button is clicked, the second database is opened, but the AutoExec macro doesn't run. If I open the second db normally, the AutoExec macro is fine.

Is there another way to open the second database from the form in my first database which will ensure my AutoExec macro to run?

Create another macro (with the same steps of your AutoexecMacro), put it on OPEN event.
