Open on specific record in mail merge

Hey guys,

I've just created a button that uses the RunApp macro to open up a mail merge for our database. Is it possbile through some VBA code to jump to an exact record in the mail merge? So, for example, if I'm on AccountNumber 29 and click the Mail Merge button, the mail merge will open up on AccountNumber 29. Is this possible at all?

Well, you could try putting some criteria on the button. Similar to what one wouls use when opening a report to a specific record or...

Hi Ginna,

Thanks for taking the time to reply to this. I've had a look through that page you gave me but I'm not too sure how that would help, I tried to download the example but it seems the page no longer exists. Putting criteria on the button seems to be what I need, but I'm unsure on what I'd actually need to use in order to achieve what I want.
