Hi

In my program I am producing summy reports for individual staff members. My boss wants to select more than one staff member at a time to print report. If I can loop through the selected staff members and open reports for them but iin preview mode it only opens first one. Is there a way to open two reports one top of each other.

At the moment I have put in the message box that in case of more than one persons selected, the report will directly go to printer.

I still want to open more than one reports in preview mode...any help?

Hi,
I don't know if you can have 2 instances of the same report open. What is the maximum number of staff members to be selected? If it is low you could create copies of the report and then open them as and when needed i.e.

If 2 staff members selected then
DoCmd.OpenReport "Report1", acViewPreview,, "StaffName = '" Me!StaffName & "'"
DoCmd.OpenReport "Report2", acViewPreview,, "StaffName = '" Me!StaffName2 & "'"

Obviously the code would need to be put in to a loop etc but you get the idea.

Why don't you have 1 report that groups by employee and starts a new page every employee.
