option controls

ok, first i'm self taught, but THOUGHT i knew what i was doing lol

i'm trying to put options on a tabbed control, i was gonna put tabs in a tab but didn't seem to want that (not aloud?). now when i make an option(radio buttons) group the wizard doesn't come up and won't let me copy more into group? how can i get my 4 not 1 options coming up? any idea why wizard not come up if use control wizards selected?

I'm pretty sure that the Wizard will only activate when you place a new Option group (or any other control for that matter that uses a set up wizard). If you are simply copying and pasting you will need to set up (adjust) the control settings manually using the properties panel.

i can't find a property to set up more options. the wizard comes up for combo list but not options group. the help file says i can copy and paste more in there but no joy! if u know a manual way to do it?

You should be able to set up/ change your option box setting by using the Properties panel. If you don't see this right click in the form whilst it is in design view and select the Properties option.

What version of Access are you using?

I've just tested (Access 03), and copying and pasting an existing option box (or combo) DOES NOT Trigger the Set up wizard. As far as I am aware the Set Up wizard only fires when you place a new control, not when you copy and past an existing control.

I'm really not sure I understand what it is you are trying to achieve, and why you can't achieve it without using the set up wizard

the wizard wont run! runs on other controls but nothing on options groups. just pissing me off now lol.

So you are attempting to place a NEW option group and the set up wizard is not running?
