Option Group Flicker

Did a search but can not find answer specific to my problem. I have an unbound option group (radio buttons) for choosing reports; I use Select Case code behind a command button that references option group button value for opening report. The form has several unbound subforms also. I am using a jpg. photo for the background photo on this form.
Anyways, when the mouse passes over the option group (BackStyle-transparent, Border- solid), the option group flickers....also, there is no code on Mouse Move. I can't figure out whats causing it ....I did see some pertinent stuff on Allen Browne's site, but it was for tab controls.

Anybody got any suggestions??

Have you tried recreating the option group?

Try putting a label with a white background behind the group just to see if the flicker still occurs.

-Recreating the option group (tried this on a copy of the original form) doesn't alleviate the problem...

-Label behind group doesn't stop flickering

-even a new, blank option group flickers..

The only way the flickering stops, is if I remove form background jpg;

I may just opt to fake option group with cmd buttons, etc-because it is more important for me to keep background picture on form (it is a common theme for all my forms in this database)...

Yes, there are several of them (Totals boxes below subforms (referencing calculated sums texboxes in those subforms)....but I need them...

As I said, the flickering stops once I remove the jpg from the form background( thats where the problem seems to be-the jpg is an illustration, not an actual photo)...

I just replicated the option group with a rectangle/command buttons, labels, etc., and all is fine
