Option Group Value to Text

On a form I have an Option Group consisting of two choices, "Day" and "Evening". In a report, I would like to have the Text "D" & "E" replaces the values (1, 2). What would be the best way to accomplish this.

Try this:

=lif([text box name?]=1,"D","E")

Forgot to tell you, on the report create a new text box with the formula in it and make the existing box showing 1 or 2 invisable
