Hey everyone,

Just wanted to post this here - I just finished a Access project that was deeply intertwined with Outlook (generating outgoing email and scraping incoming messages, custom forms) and Excel VBA (primarily for reporting).

If anyone has any specific questions regarding either Outlook or Excel, and you're having trouble finding answers, feel free to private message me and I'll be happy to assist as best I can.

Go easy on the private enterprise here: using the forum facilities for private advice should be a rare exception rather than something to be encouraged. Any problem described in the fora and the corresponding advice dispensed are benefits to be enjoyed by all the readers, and not just the two parties to the exchange.

For the forum's benefit, I might suggest starting a thread with the question in the appropriate forum, then sending Will a PM with a link to the question. That way others can benefit from the exchange.

Thanks Paul! I'm not trying to be sneaky or anything - I just knew that, as I was having difficulties in the Outlook and Excel arena, searching these forums didn't reveal very much. Also, I don't always get to spend as much time perusing the pages as I'd like - I often while away the hours here when I'm between projects (like I am now). Just wanted to offer folks a way to reach me direct if something (my job, my 2 year old, my 6 month old) was keeping me from seeing the public posts right away. Your suggestion is perfect...

No problem! I didn't think you were trying to be sneaky or anything negative, just trying to let everyone benefit from your knowledge, including me. :p

Oh, and Spike's post wasn't there when I started typing, so it looks like we were thinking along the same lines.

It wont let me add a link, please take a look.
