On the nat there are sites which connect developers with these who need
various projects and software solutions. Does anyone try this? I was on one of that sites but there was nothing from that. First, when I saw prices for which things were offered to be done I was not interested in althought I am unemploied and second when I done some offer for testing
noone did contact me despite low price offer.

I have never tried one of those before, and have always been able to keep myself off the beach without resorting to using a site like that, although I sometimes wonder how legit they are.

Yes, you have to be careful of which ones are not on the up and up. A few of them are ok and due diligence about them can be rewarded. I used one the last time I was laid-off. It wasn't much and it helped provide a little extra cash, but more importantly, helped occupy my time.

Like anything else, you have to be a salesperson. You have to do something that will make your offer stand out to the person looking to hire you. The big thing I notice is communication... if they can't communicate with you or they have difficulty understanding your offer (Example: grammatical and spelling errors), they aren't going to waste any time on you and move on to the next offer.

Also, don't say something like "Pick me, I'll do it". That would make me skip right over you no matter how low of a price you entered.

If that's what you want to do... my advice is to learn how to market yourself. Provide detailed explanations of how you can help your customer.
