I'm using Office 2000 Developer and I have packaged my databases and other assotiated files so that I can install the application on a machine that does not have Access installed.
The package is created successfully but when running the setup.exe on the client PC, I get the following error:
"Setup cannot continue bcause some system files are out of date. Click OK if you would like setup to update these files for you now. You will have to reboot before continuing with the setup"
So I click OK and then I'm asked if I want to reboot, I choose OK.
When the machine has rebooted, I run the setup.exe again and the same message is displayed? I tried this several times, but I still have had no success? Could anyone help me out. This is my first time with the Developer edition, so be gentle.
My pacage includes the following files:
File1=SDDB_data.mde
File2=SDDB_Capture.mde
File4=MSCOMM32.OCX
File5=msado21.tlb
File6=SDDB.mde
