I have a query built on another query. When i run this I am presented with a "Sumofgoodsin" prompt from the originating query - I press enter and the data presents itself perfectly - but I am always prompted for this and its a tad annoying - also if I link it to excel it will not work - due to the above

Any ideas gratefully appreciated

It sounds like one of the previous queries was a group query where you were summing 'goodsin'. Now it is still looking for this 'sumofgoodsin' value which is either no longer there or the field was renamed.

Check the query that is prompting for the parameter for a field with Expr in the field name. Then need to find where this 'field' is missing from and set it up again or rename it.
