Sorry I did not probably explain my question clearly.

Once you protect the table is it possible the linked queries and forms of the table protected as well. So nobody edits, ammends or deletes a record of data.
 
hi, what i would suggest you do is search this forum for your answer, this has been discussed many times and there are many different answers from many different users. For an example of how it can be done have a look in the sample databases forum and you will find a log in example which shows you a very good way of how to password protect a database, with this information you should be able to expand it to include all the areas of your database that you wish to be protected.
 
after reading your edited question, the most simple form of preventing people from editing or deleting records would be to disable these options in a form and not only users access to your queries or tables other than via your forms. this can be done during the design process by bringing up the form properties and under the data tab you will see the the options

allow edits
allow deletions
all new records etc, just set them to match what you want to allow people to be able to do
