Hello,
Is there a way to do an export of a query, using pipe symbols as the delimiters, ideally using vba to do the export?
When I search on this topic I only see ways involving file specifications.
Sadly, to begin with there is no "File --> Export" in my Office 2010 so it's a non starter, at least as far as I can tell... and the right-click on a query --> export doesn't appear to have any options that speak to creation of a file spec, either.
Can someone kindly point me to a hint using 100% VBA to export a query using pipes to delimit with Office 2010?
And further, if 100%VBA export using pipes doesn't exist, might someone point me to how to do such a file spec using office 2010?
Lastly, if I get stuck using a file spec, does that file spec travel with the accdb? Or must it be created on each of the workstations that will run the access db?
Thanks!
