Not sure if this is even possible in Access or Excel Pivot charts for that matter but I would like the ability to look at the overall average of a group of data and compare it to an individuals average for the same time period on the same chart.
I have not seen anything when searching google or this site.
I would like to keep it entirely in Access if possible and avoid VBA to export to a seperate Excel file and create populate a chart from there.

Thoughts?

Hmm if you created a relationship between group and individual, you could create two separate queires and use a union query to unite the two. Then export and robert's your father's brother!

I hadnt thought of it that way. Think I could use that Union query behind a Access pivot chart?
I think Ill try that.
Thanks for the imput!!

Maybe, you might have to go around the houses by creating another make table query based on the union query, then your pivot on that. But I've not used unions before, I do it in a slightly different way - hope it works!

Thanks again. That worked great and I can build the the pivot table off of the union query directly.
Off hand do you know if is this a 2007 feature of will I want to push it to a temp table for the pivot table date for 2003 users?

Thanks

As far as I know union queries existed in 03 as well. But I usually build tables for the users so they don't have to wait for queries to run....
